The Annual Hoike (Recital) 2007

Makani Kai not only performs, they teach. Various Polynesian performances including Tahitian, Hawaiian, Maori and Samoan are taught. You cannot be too old or too young to learn this beautiful artform. Makani Kai is willing to teach anyone willing to want to learn.

Students get to perform at least once to twice a year to showcase what they have learned. Students are also taught to create their own costumes which is a significant part of the polynesian culture.
